  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a springform pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, eggs, melted butter, water, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, sour cream, and eggs one at a time until silky.
  4. Pour half of the red velvet batter into the prepared pan followed by half of the cream cheese filling. Repeat with remaining mixtures to create beautiful layers.
  5. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until slightly jiggly in the center. Allow it to cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
