  • 24 white chocolate kisses

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix in red food coloring until combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined to avoid overmixing.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  6. Immediately press a white chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven. Allow cooling on a wire rack.
