  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 package (7 oz) ladyfingers
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp gelatin powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, reserving some whole for decoration.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  3. Dissolve the gelatin in warm water according to package instructions. Fold it into a portion of whipped cream along with the sliced strawberries.
  4. Line a springform pan with ladyfingers around the edges. Pour half of the mousse into the center, add more ladyfingers if desired, then top with remaining mousse.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
  6. Before serving, run a knife around the edges and carefully release from the pan. Garnish with extra whipped cream and whole strawberries.
