  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus more for glazing)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and half of the BBQ sauce until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Smoke the meatballs for about 75 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  5. In the last 10 minutes of smoking, brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the meatballs.
  6. Serve on a platter and drizzle with extra sauce if desired.
