  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and pour half of the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. In the last minute of baking, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and broil for extra crispiness.
  6. Drizzle with remaining marinade before garnishing with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
