  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate and butter in short bursts until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until thick and pale. Combine melted chocolate mixture and gradually fold in flour.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until moist crumbs remain on a toothpick. Allow to cool completely.
  5. For the salted caramel, melt sugar over medium heat until amber, then slowly add heavy cream while stirring. Mix in sea salt and drizzle over cooled brownies.
  6. Cut brownies into squares, roll into balls, coat in melted chocolate, sprinkle with sea salt, and chill until set.
