  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix warm water and sugar; sprinkle in yeast and let sit until foamy (about 5 minutes).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center, add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Punch down the dough; fold in minced garlic and chopped rosemary.
  6. Divide dough into golf ball-sized pieces; shape into balls and place snugly in a greased baking dish. Let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
