  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel)
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the caramel by melting 1 cup of granulated sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. Quickly pour it into a flan mold or individual ramekins.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Blend together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture over the set caramel in your mold.
  5. Place the mold in a baking dish filled with hot water (water bath) and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until set.
  6. Let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least four hours or overnight.
  7. To serve, run a knife around the edges and flip onto a plate.
