  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add to the wet mixture while stirring gently.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
