  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (3 oz) packet Jell-O gelatin mix (any flavor)
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a rectangular baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and one packet of Jell-O mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients using an electric mixer until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, spread whipped topping evenly over the cake and sprinkle remaining gelatin mix on top for added flavor and color.
  6. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled.
