Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) fresh or frozen deveined and peeled prawns
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the prawns under cold water if frozen and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Add the prawns to the marinade and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated prawns (reserve some marinade) and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
