  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, and rice vinegar until smooth.
  4. Place the chicken in the baking dish and pour half of the sauce over it, coating well.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste with remaining sauce halfway through if desired.
  6. Serve hot, drizzled with extra sauce and garnished with sliced green onions.
