  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or nacho)
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup ripe tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes; drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning. Set aside.
  2. On a large flour tortilla, layer tortilla chips at the center for crunchiness.
  3. Add seasoned beef, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream on top of the chips. Drizzle with hot sauce.
  4. Fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center to form a hexagonal shape.
  5. Cook seam-side down in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  6. Serve halved with extra hot sauce on the side.
