  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 toasted sandwich buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a splash of olive oil. Cook chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  4. Shred the rested chicken with two forks and return it to the sauce. Mix thoroughly to coat.
  5. Spoon the mixture onto toasted buns, adding extra Parmesan if desired.
