  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 1 cup fresh button mushrooms, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds if desired.
  3. Sauté chopped mushrooms in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of oil for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix sautéed mushrooms, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Generously stuff each jalapeño half with the mushroom mixture.
