Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6 cups assorted fresh apples (e.g., Granny Smith and Honeycrisp), peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and half of the caramel sauce. Set aside.
  3. Roll out pie crust and fit into a pie pan. Pour the apple mixture into the crust, scraping all caramel from the bowl.
  4. Cover with another layer of crust or create a lattice top; brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
