  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 1 lb shrimp (fresh or thawed)
  • 8 oz Andouille sausage (sliced)
  • 12 oz penne or fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 red bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the bell peppers and mincing the garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and garlic for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned, then add shrimp, cooking until pink (approximately another 3-4 minutes).
  5. Pour in heavy cream, chicken broth, and Cajun seasoning; let simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce along with the chicken; stir well to coat everything before serving.
