  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes). Season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and onion powder until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, and lettuce. Pour dressing over the mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to meld flavors.
