  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  4. Marinate chicken in half of the marinade for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Place marinated chicken in the baking dish and drizzle remaining marinade on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Brush on extra marinade five minutes before finishing for a sticky glaze.
  8. Serve with remaining sauce from the baking dish.
