Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk (whole or non-dairy)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup diced apples (Fuji or Honeycrisp preferred)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them into small cubes. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients until just mixed; fold in the chopped apples.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Line the basket with parchment paper or lightly coat it with cooking spray.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  6. Serve warm with a drizzle of glaze if desired.
